California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

License No. MFC36334

EFT Certified
EFT Cert-l, Certified EFT Practitioner
Psychotherapy and EFT for Individuals, Families, and Groups

I have been practicing psychotherapy since 1995. My practice specializes in treating the challenges of families with adult children, life transitions coupled with symptoms of depression and anxiety, and the emotional effects of trauma that often affect the body. I am certified in a therapy method called EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and I am now offering EFT as an option for my clients.

While my work is closely connected to the core EFT principles, EFT is a flexible improvement tool and I am using my own version. The original version and complete training can be found at www.emofree.com.

EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture without needles; while discussing your problems you are instructed to tap your fingers on specific meridian points on your body. This tapping process, combined with talk therapy, removes energy blockages that obstruct emotional healing. EFT is believed to be one of the fastest ways to remove stressful thoughts, negative emotions and the debilitating effects of traumatic memories. I have seen more effective results using EFT in the healing process than I have with talk therapy alone, ensuring a rapid return to a more positive and fulfilling life.

I strongly believe the positive synergies between client and therapist are essential to the process and therefore hope you will not hesitate to contact me for a preliminary consultation.
