If life throws enough challenges our way, it's not unusual to become emotionally disconnected from our families, jobs, friends, happiness, and even values. Fear, depression, and anxiety can become all-encompassing. Finding a clear path back to emotional strength and stability can be overwhelming and distressing if we try to "go it alone."
I work with my clients using my skills as a psychotherapist, as a registered nurse, and as someone who has had many varied life experiences, to find ways to help my clients gain new perspectives, take action as needed, and reconnect to their lives. I work together with people to understand their underlying problems, establish their goals, and purposefully plan ways to reach them. Is it simple? Not always. Is it worthwhile? Absolutely!
